Chase: Unfortunately, on Sunday, August 26th, 2018, price protection was removed from all Chase credit cards. This means that all purchases made on your Chase credit card after this date will no longer be eligible for credit card price protection when prices drop.
Citibank: Citibank's price protection policy typically allows you to request up to $2,500 of price drops per year. The request must occur within 60 days of the initial purchase.
Citibank recently announced changes to its card benefits. Purchases made on or prior to September 22nd, 2019 will remain price protected. After September 22nd, 2019, Citibank will no longer be offering Price Protection as a card benefit. You can learn more about this update here.
